Museums Cafe in Celle

Nice café on the market square of the old town, very close to the castle. The pies, cakes and baked goods on offer not only look fantastic, but are of excellent quality. The hot chocolate with cream is highly recommended. The service is great, the prices are fair! Overall, highly recommended.

I liked it a lot, but unfortunately no pastries for diabetics. The men's room was unfortunately too small and unclean. PLEASE check there often.

The café looks really cozy and is well attended. Unfortunately, on our part, a visit did not take place, as we were pointed out very sluggishly that everything was occupied. "No problem" we thought and waited because there was also a lot of fluctuation. We shared this with another waitress who understood our concern and said it was okay. After a few minutes, the first waitress again approached us from the side in a really outrageous way and said, in essence, "Everything is full! I told you! You can't stand in the way!" That was really too stupid for us. Of course, it is not easy for everyone (catering establishments) due to corona requirements etc., but that doesn't mean that you have to miss a minimum of respect and service thoughts. We left our money elsewhere.

Just heavenly! This variety of cakes is absolutely amazing! I don't even need to start with the perfect staff. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

We had a lovely stay! In the rear building there are still quiet outdoor spaces.

There are different pies and cakes every day. The cakes are sophisticated and usually have a small dash of schnapps or flavor. A small ice cream menu and a bitter snack are also available here. There is outdoor seating in front of the café and in the courtyard. Inside there are 3 smaller rooms. Old and modern meet here. The cafe is well attended no matter when we were here.

Great cake and pie selection. Nice atmosphere, especially the inner courtyard is recommended for the summer. The facility is a successful mixture of modern design and old tradition (pharmacy). The breakfast is very lovingly prepared and is one of the best in Celle. Only the coffee is rather boring, a strong bean from a decent portafilter machine would go better with the rest of the offer. Oh ... the staff has always been nice and accommodating. We remain loyal ......

Celle is always good for a Sunday excursion, plus delicious coffee and cake here in the burg ambience. Also because the plum cake at Baxmann visavis was unfortunately already sold out ...

Unfortunately there is boring coffee from the fully automatic machine. I expect more from a café! The egg liqueur layer on the egg liqueur cake was like rubber and where was the nut taste from the alleged nut floor? Uncomfortable hard chairs that do not fit the style of these beautiful old rooms and far too many decorative elements unfortunately do not create a cozy atmosphere. The staff was quite harsh and less concerned with the well-being of the guest than to do everything quickly.

Simply great cakes and tarts. The courtyard is super cozy. We like to come here.

My favorite breakfast cafe with super delicious food and drinks and the world's best cakes, offering a variety of enjoyment that really melts on your tongue. Every time I forget the time and enjoy the visits, like a trip to a lonely island. Also noteworthy are the friendly and helpful staff. I thank you and am already looking forward to my next island holiday.

Great location and very nice staff. The cake is delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee comes from the fully automatic machine and not from a Siebträngermaschine. The seating inside is a little hard. Sitting outside is definitely more comfortable. The café is one of those open on Sundays which is not taken for granted in Celle. For a bonus point.

Very good atmosphere, and very well baked & presented cakes. This is not mainstream: it's a quality place where they understand and love what they are doing. Highly recommended, as a stop during your walk through Celle city centre (something worth a visit on its own)
